All Church Conferences are for Fairmount Avenue UMC members to vote on matters related to the church. This Church Conference will have two agenda items:
1. Church Governance Restructure Proposal
2. Lay Leadership Nominations
Please review the Church Governance Structure Proposal and join in the All Church Conference on August 18 at 7:00pm on Zoom. Church members are eligible to vote in the Church Conference. Contact the Church Office if you need the Zoom link. (Sent out by email and newsletter.)

Church Governance Restructure Proposal - Please Review
Church Governance Structure Proposal Town Hall Discussion
As we consider the church governance structure, it's important to know that our Church Council has been working hard to set direction and policies to free up and focus our church ministries and programs for carrying out our church's vision, "To be a joyful, welcoming community; igniting hearts and minds for God's work."
In order to create space for each of you to discuss and reflect on the Proposed Church Governance structure, we will be hosting three Town Hall conversations over the coming weeks. Zoom Link is sent in the Monday Meditation Email Newsletter. (Sign up for the Email Newsletter here.) The proposed structure was reviewed by Church Council and created by a combination of Church Council members, the Lay Leadership Committee, Sandra Burrowes (Council Chair), Paul Howe (Lay Leader), and Pastor Shawna
